Every applicant must meet income eligibility for KC Scholars by calculating their EFC (Expected Family Contribution – learn more here). 9th and 11th grade applicants must calculate their EFC using the College Board EFC Calculator. We encourage Adult Learner applicants to complete the 2021-2022 FAFSA.
You can calculate your EFC priorto the application opening on January 1 and we highly encourage you to do so!
Join us on the following Tuesdays in December for assistance in determining if you meet income eligibility to apply to KC Scholars (you can drop in at any time – it will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete). Please have this information about your 2019 household income & assets available: EFC Calculator Worksheet
