Salesforce Marketing Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Reports to: Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications

Location: Kansas City, MO

Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote (technology provided)

Status: Exempt, Full-time

Salary: Annual salary based on experience

Key Performance Indicators:

    • Ensure all competitive research and marketing trends are analyzed for the team to understand demographics in all 4 programs and make data driven decisions.
    • Track & advise on newsletter content based on open rate, CTR, CTA’s.
    • Track & advise on website flow/UX based on visits, time onsite etc. using tools such as SiteImprove and heat mapping.
    • Track & advise on Social Media content based on # of followers, # of Shares, % of engagement.
    • Track & advise on Google Ad content/placement/targeting based on Click Rate & Sign-Ups determine acquisition cost base on data and advise on budgets and usage.
    • Track & advise on email and SMS drip campaigns from all departments via Salesforce based on open rate, CTR, CTAs, Subject line, content, time/day of send.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Marketing Analyst role will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications and will play a key role at KC Scholars. This role will ­­­­­be responsible for assisting the department focused on data driven marketing decisions, which includes a Communications Manager, Marketing Assistant in new and ongoing marcomm initiatives. We are looking for a Marketing Analyst who’ll research and identify success in our marketing initiatives. Marketing Analyst responsibilities include tracking advertising costs, researching, and reporting ROI on marketing channels, and determining best course of action for continued success or corrective measures.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

    • Gathering and reporting ROI on all marketing channels.
    • Process and analyze data around marketing campaigns.
    • Researching trends in communication channels including digital, social, and traditional.
    • Managing frequency of communication with scholars using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Plug-in.
    • Reporting and analyzing marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic (Site Improve), social media engagement etc.
    • Track, report, and make recommendations on email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)
    • Recommend website and campaign optimizations through SiteImprove.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

 

Work Experience:

    • 3-5 years’ experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    • 3 years of Project management experience needed.
    • Work experience as a marketing analyst
    • Experience with processing and analyzing marketing data.
    • Experience using SiteImprove or a similar ADA compliant website tool.
    • Extensive knowledge of SEM campaign strategies and SEO best practices.

Physical requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
    • Ability to work in an office and remote environment.
    • Ability to travel from and to work and occasionally to regional sites as the organization grows.
    • Ability to interact with others via technology, face-to-face and collectively.
